Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in December. When she converted to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk is known for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good news that she had become pregnant on the set of Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the show was coming back for a fourth season of its production. Fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant presence on social media.
