Srushti Dehmukh began preparing for UPSC when she was in her third year of her engineering diploma. After her graduation she was unsure whether or not she'd enjoy a career in engineer position. Eventually, she realised that civil engineering was her love and focused on it. The parents urged her to become civil servants and seek an employment in the public sector. Her motivation was constant and she determined to become an IAS officer. To be able to pass UPSC to be a reality it is more work needed. She was also preparing for UPSC exams while studying engineering. Every day, she set aside some time to prepare for the exam. In just over one month and a half, she prepared for her engineering test as well as completely avoiding social media. The focus she believes is crucial to be able to pass the test for a government job and be able to work as a civil servant. She worked hard to achieve her dream to pass the test on her the first attempt. Every day, she went through the news to stay updated with the current news. In the online world, she found a variety of study material and watched Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh authored a second publication titled The Answer Writing Handbook.
